Today, on September 12th, smartphone users in Taiwan got a sudden alert message at 4 p.m. It made some people worried. But it was just a test by the five big phone companies in Taiwan. They sent the message in both Chinese and English. The companies are Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, FarEasTone Telecommunications, Taiwan Star Telecom, and Asia Pacific Telecom.
